On February 28, the last of the Inspire R12 FMAP (First Mover Advantage Program) builds were posted to our release site, meaning the first Windows version of Inspire R12 with documentation in English is complete. The Release Notes document is 64 pages, and the “New Features 12.0” document is 184 pages long. Keep in mind that this was a 16-month development program, which delivers Quadient clients best in class ROM (Return on Maintenance.)

While there is a lot to get excited about from a feature perspective, I don’t want to get lost in the details. Today, I want to focus on the specific cross-portfolio integrations that we’ve delivered, as you will find that R12 is the most integrated technology portfolio in any market that touches CCM. 

You will find integrations to data quality services from the design UI, meaning you can make postal address validation, email address validation, and phone number append part of the production process without noticing that you are leaving the interface. This is possible because we took the new UI from R11 and applied those design standards to every, yes EVERY, product in the portfolio.

You can also coordinate delivery across the portfolio, with our new Omnichannel Coordination offering manages production and delivery of messages to clients in declining order of preference to deliver great CX while maintaining compliance. This is the industry’s first true omnichannel delivery coordination that coordinates SMS, mobile, email, print and archive into a single communication execution system.

You can also design and collaborate more effectively across the portfolio. With enhancements to our award-winning Customer Journey Mapping offering, you can now export maps to share with others. Communication across projects is easier with additions to the Social Commenting feature that works across Interactive, Designer, Customer Journey Mapping and Direct Mail Onboarding. This sharpens collaboration, eliminates confusion and gets projects out the door with less hassle. 

So, as you look at R12, take a high-level look. There are a lot of things that can connect you to your peers in ways that make everyone’s lives easier. We invested thousands of developer days into improving your experience with our software. As we look at the industry, we see a lot of people “talking the talk” about CX.
