Do Customers' Preferred Channels of Communication Matter?
I was able to attend Quadient’s R14 roadshow, which is our internal training for services, support and presales teams. I’ve been here for almost seven years, and this show reminded me that absolutely everything scaled up at Quadient. First, the teams have grown so much that we needed two sessions with about 50 people each to train the support and presales teams. Next, the scope of the software has grown to require almost a week to train the team on all of the nuances. Lastly, the software and services have scaled up and grown into a very wide, yet continuous, portfolio.
As we prepare for the R14 release, any customer needs to be reminded that you can test 12.5, which is the last release before we do the final documentation, quality control and certification of the R14 release. This is available to clients today. Additionally, customers can request a VM with the new version available to get their hands on these features today. We even have some new documentation, like a manual dedicated to accessibility across the entire portfolio.
The major development themes are about integration, deployment and customer experience. In terms of integration, more integrations with third-party products from Salesforce, Twilio, Temenos, UiPath, DocuSign and others. Customers will enjoy the support for containerization, which makes it easier to scale up multichannel infrastructure that can meet the peak loads needs of multi-step communications that span channels. Lastly, customer experience professionals will see the incredible leaps made in the UI of the entire suite, especially the Customer Journey Mapping interface.
As I reflect on the releases that I have been involved with, (9.0, R10, R11 and R12 if you are counting,) I am impressed (but not surprised) at the scope and interconnectedness of the R14 offering. Specifically, I am excited about helping get more new clients into the Inspire ecosystem faster. Our InspireXpress migration utilities are proving to get migrations done in half of the time than typical migration but delivered a digital transformation instead of a simple migration.
