With COVID-19 acting as the catalyst for digital transformation, retailers are planning to make significant investments in thirteen "hot" tech-driven initiatives.
According to Forrester's report The Top Tech Initiatives of 2021, “Retailers [are] investing in new ways to use omnichannel to serve their customers. Omnichannel has been near the top of the list for years, but the pandemic has shifted some of the priorities around the capabilities. In fact, more than 31% of retailers surveyed shifted a large amount of their 2020 budget to fund omnichannel fulfillment due to COVID-19.”
