Download the latest instructions to update your franking machine, then perform a generic call on your machine to download the new tariff (see "How to perform a generic call" under Franking machines below). 

Avoid future rate change fees by updating to the latest franking technology. Contact your account manager to discuss your options.

Due to factors outside An Post's control, such as an incorrect address, your mail cannot always be delivered, so it has to be 'Returned to Sender'. Without an ERA (return address) on the envelope, returning the mail to you can be a challenge. If you are not receiving your returned mail this can cause problems for your company: 

• Invoices can go unpaid. 

• Events are unattended. 

• Announcements are unheard. 

Without the return of your undelivered mail your customer database will also become outdated, and you will waste time and money trying to contact customers who are no longer in business or have moved premises. 

A generic call connects your mailing system to the server and downloads the available elements (rates, slogans, etc.) — do this to update your machine after a rate change. The steps depend on your machine model: 

• IS-280, IS-350, IS-440, IS-480 and IJ-80: Press Menu on the machine → arrow to Online Services and press OK → arrow to Generic call and press OK. Once the call is complete the stats will be updated. 

• IS-420: As a user press MENU and type 9.3, or select the path Online Services → Generic call. The mailing system connects to the server and downloads the available elements (rates, slogans, etc.). Check your mailbox for messages.

To create a MyQuadient account you will need your debtor number, a recent invoice number and the OLS user's email address. Once you have these, go to the registration page and enter your details. Once you have registered you will receive an email with instructions on how to set up a secure password. Once you have done this, your account will be ready to use! The first time you log in you will be presented with the MyQuadient terms and conditions — please remember to accept these. 

Your account number is located on any invoice or statement from Quadient — see an example. 

If you have forgotten your password we can easily reset it for you. Simply click 'forgot password' underneath the password field and follow the instructions, alternatively you can reset it here. You will then receive an email with a link to set up a new secure password. 

The terms and conditions allow Quadient to personalise your MyQuadient account and access your machine data. This is completely secure — Quadient will not be able to access any sensitive information. The terms and conditions will need to be accepted before you can use your MyQuadient account. 

If you haven't registered for a MyQuadient account yet you can do this quickly and easily on the Register for a MyQuadient Account page. 

Your username is the email address that you used to register for your MyQuadient account. 

To log out of MyQuadient just hover on your name at the top of the page and then select 'Log out'. 

The Quadient Business Apps portal and Quadient web-based software are supported by the following browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer version 10 & 11, Mozilla Firefox version 47 and later, Google Chrome version 47 and later. If you are using a browser other than the ones listed, you will likely experience a less than optimal viewing experience and may experience issues. 

TLS stands for "Transport Layer Security" — a protocol that provides privacy and data integrity between your web browser and the Quadient server. Salesforce (the platform that runs your MyQuadient account) required an upgrade to TLS 1.2: after the cut-over, browsers still using the older TLS 1.1 protocol cannot access MyQuadient. We enable a notification on your MyQuadient account if we detect that you need to update your browser's TLS settings. See our step-by-step TLS update guide, then log in to complete the process. Updating your TLS settings is required for other websites too — it is not specific to MyQuadient and will not affect any functions on your computer or your level of security.
