Quadient, has partnered with builders’ merchant, Jewson, to install Parcel Pending by Quadient oversize smart lockers at two of its flagship branches, Luton as well as its new purpose-built ‘Branch of the Future’ in Farnborough.
Jewson, established in 1836, operates over 500 stores across the UK and Ireland and has been evolving its branch network since becoming part of the STARK Group in 2023.
These outdoor oversize trade lockers, which are branded in Jewson’s distinctive style, offer secure, 24/7 click-and-collect access, seven days a week, making it easy for professional tradespeople to collect everything from small plumbing tools to large building materials at their convenience.
Parcel Pending by Quadient lockers help streamline operations and can be seamlessly incorporated into the existing order fulfillment process, offering a convenient, fast and secure solution for order collection – even outside of store hours.
Quadient has installed over 25,700 smart locker systems worldwide, the company is well on its way toward its long-term goal of deploying 40,000 by 2030. With, retailers, carriers, higher education institutions, residential and commercial property management firms already relying on them.
