🍂 Autumn brings many things…
Kids back at school, the leaves changing colour and falling to the ground, a crisp freshness in the air, dew on the grass in the early morning.
Fewer tourists in London, and of course, conference after conference!

Quadient had the absolute pleasure of sponsoring the Innov8 Insights conference for the second year in a row, and wow, we just love to see our partners grow.

Our day was filled with great conversations around finance, automation, and everyone’s favourite word right now: AI.

So why is AI such a big talking point?
Because we’ve finally reached a point where technology can truly enhance finance teams, giving them time back in their day to focus on higher-value projects, take a proper lunch, and even finish at 5pm without overtime guilt.

Here are a few key takeaways from the day 👇

1️⃣ AI isn’t here to take your job; it’s here to enhance it.
Large language models get most of the attention, but they’re not built for finance. Statistical and predictive AI can forecast profits, demand, losses, and shipping times while automatically keeping the right people informed.

2️⃣ Companies are embracing smarter tech stacks.
Automation is now expected. Both Quadient AP and AR feature built-in AI that supports predictive association, coding, workflows, customer grading, and even email templates.
The standout differentiator at Innov8 Insights? Quadient offers both AP and AR automation in one platform.

3️⃣ AI can feel intimidating, but curiosity is winning.
Many attendees said their main goal was to learn. They know that if they’re not already applying AI to their workflows, they risk falling behind those who are.

4️⃣ Automation works at any scale.
Our UK&I CFO, Lyuda Zhuk, shared how Quadient has implemented automation in a company that has 6,000 employees, offices in 33 countries, and multiple business units. If we can make automation work at that scale, with the right scoping and discovery, so can you.

Next up, you’ll find us at Sage Future for Partners in Barcelona and Microsoft Directions for Partners EMEA in Poznań.
