Quadient (Euronext Paris: QDT), a global automation platform powering secure and sustainable business connections, today announced a new partnership with Publisure, a leading provider of secure digital outbound communications for the public sector, to help UK councils and public sector organisations modernise how they communicate with citizens. The collaboration brings together Quadient’s hybrid mail expertise with Publisure’s digital first 2-way infrastructure to deliver secure, cost-effective, and flexible services.
Through the joint solution, critical documents such as council tax bills, housing notifications and benefits letters can be processed, printed, and mailed securely using Quadient’s hybrid mail service, while Publisure enables the same information to be delivered digitally via email, SMS, or citizen portals. A key feature, delivered through Publisure’s platform, is the creation of a single, secure ‘golden record’ for each citizen, ensuring that every communication is accurate, consistent, and fully compliant with data protection regulations.
Publisure’s open, standards-based platform integrates seamlessly with existing systems, avoiding vendor lock-in and allowing local authorities to adapt as citizen needs and policies evolve. This approach helps councils maximise value, reduce risk, and maintain full control of their communications strategy.
Phil Jones, Senior Business Development Director, Quadient UK: “Having worked with Publisure on multiple projects, we saw the need for a combined physical and digital communications solution for the public sector. Together, we are helping councils deliver timely, personalised communications through secure cloud-based services; while ensuring they remain in control with real-time reporting and support.”
Andrew Percival, Managing Director, Publisure: “This partnership redefines how government connects with its citizens. By bringing together Publisure’s digital-first platform with Quadient’s expertise in hybrid mail, we are providing councils with a cost-efficient, future-ready solution. The ability to consolidate multiple references into a single golden record sets a new standard for accuracy and citizen engagement.”
Early projects across UK councils have already shown faster delivery, lower costs, and improved citizen engagement. The joint solution will be showcased at DigiGov Expo 2025, on the 24th and 25th September at the Excel in London, where Quadient and Publisure will demonstrate how local government can provide accessible and personalised services across both digital and postal channels.
