Most providers promise personalization, omnichannel delivery, cloud capabilities, and AI, but while these capabilities may appear similar on a feature checklist, they're often very different in reality.
The newly released 2026 QKS SPARK Matrix™ for Customer Communications Management brings those differences into focus. The report doesn’t score vendors on a feature checklist but evaluates how they balance real technology depth against real customer impact.
The report named Quadient as a global Leader for the sixth consecutive year, earning the furthest upper-right position for technology excellence and customer impact. It was also recognized as the "Most Valuable Pioneer" (MVP) on QKS Group's AI Maturity Matrix for CCM. But why does Quadient stand out?
The report highlights several areas that increasingly define a modern CCM platform, from deployment flexibility and AI governance to business-user control and easier modernization. The report credited Quadient for its:
Deployment—Runs on-premises, hybrid, or in cloud-native SaaS environments side by side, while keeping templates, capabilities, and governance consistent across all three, allowing large enterprises to modernize in stages instead of being forced into a single, high-risk replatforming event.
AI—Offers a model-agnostic orchestration to plug in your own pre-approved, corporate-governed AI models rather than being locked into a vendor's proprietary engine, preserving data security and regulatory compliance in the process.
Business-user control—Leverages a single platform spanning composition, delivery, archive, accessibility, and migration, with journey-to-template design available in one surface, allowing marketing, legal, and compliance teams to make changes without an IT ticket.
Migration—Features the most mature, productized migration tooling among the vendors evaluated, limiting the pain of a long, highly manual transformation project to move to a modern platform.
The independent evidence points to a clear conclusion. As Saurabh Raj, Principal Analyst at QKS Group, summarizes in the report:
"Quadient's standing is shaped by architectural breadth and CCM heritage that position it as the established benchmark in the evaluated set... creating relevance for large, regulated enterprises and service providers that value deployment flexibility without replatforming."

One inspector's report is a data point. Three independent inspectors reaching the same conclusion is a pattern.
Omdia's Universe: Customer Communications Management, 2026 report named Quadient a Leader and rated Inspire "Best in Class" for both Technology and Solution Breadth, the highest Technology score of any vendor Omdia evaluated. The report called out the same deployment flexibility and integrated journey mapping QKS highlighted, from a completely separate research team.
The quarterly-updated Aspire CCM-CXM Leaderboard has kept Quadient in the Leader position across AnyPrem CCM, vendor-hosted SaaS CCM, Communications Experience Platform, and Interaction Experience Management, with its most recent update showing gains in strategy, platform strength, and ability to execute.
Different analysts. Different methodologies. Same conclusion. The foundation holds.
