About the speakers:
Scott Roth, Senior Vice President, IT Enterprise Solutions, Lincoln Financial Group Scott is responsible for omnichannel delivery for all of Lincoln’s lines of business. The Lincoln omnichannel portfolio includes digital experience and design, web, mobile, chat and voice bots, integrated voice response and customer contact center applications. Additionally, Scott is responsible for enterprise data management and automation, which includes customer 360, workflow, straight-through processing and several other technologies that leverage cloud, artificial intelligence and machine learning. He has made substantial contributions in his role to position his team and business partners to innovate and successfully address the opportunities in the ever-changing market and competitive environment through a series of effective and impactful digital solutions. Scott has more than 28 years of IT experience. He joined Lincoln ten years ago from MetLife, where he led the turnaround of their broker dealer application development unit. His previous experience includes leadership roles at Lehman Brothers and three software company start-ups. Scott holds a Master of Telecommunications and Information Management degree from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering and a B.A. in Accounting and Information Systems from City University of New York. He resides in Cherry Hill, NJ with his wife and three children. Matthew Daniels, Vice President and Chief Architect, Lincoln Financial Group Matt joined Lincoln Financial Group 5 years ago and currently leads the Enterprise Architecture team as Vice President and Chief Architect. In this role his team is focused on translating Lincoln’s business strategy into actionable portfolios of change, while driving the overall technology strategy, patterns, tools and standardization across the enterprise. The Enterprise Architecture team partners with the business, and across IT to produce high-quality, extensible strategies and designs that deliver maximum business value, while reducing Lincoln’s overall cost and increasing reusability. Prior to Lincoln, Matt had a 15 year career at RBS Citizens, held various senior technology and leadership positions with Fidelity Information Systems, Gartner, and Eunetcom/Dun and Bradstreet and has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology arena, specifically in the areas of Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, technology innovation, mergers and acquisitions, business continuity/DR, network and data security, large scale heterogeneous networking, and technology integration and engineering.
