Postage and funding FAQs

Find answers about checking your meter balance, adding funds, making USPS prepayments and managing your Quadient Postage Funding account.

Meter balances and downloads

Check the funds or balance menu on your machine. On models with these options, press Funds, then select Funds Used / Funds Available.

Menu names vary by model. Follow your equipment’s user guide for the correct steps.

Follow the download instructions for your equipment model in the Quadient Knowledge Base for help finding the appropriate instructions.

If you cannot complete a download, contact customer service with your equipment model, serial number and any error message.

Sign in to MyQuadient to review your account activity and access available usage reports.

Note: USPS prepayments and Quadient Postage Funding have different payment instructions. Follow the instructions for the account you are using.

USPS prepayments

Make your check payable to USPS and send it to the processing address specified in your account’s payment instructions. Include your postage account number on the check.

Do not send USPS prepayments to Quadient. To pay a funding statement, use the instructions on that statement instead.

Allow time for both delivery and processing before the funds become available. Check your account’s payment instructions for the applicable processing times.

If a payment has not appeared, contact customer service with your account number and payment details.

The No Deposit ACH Debit Program provides an alternative to mailing prepayment checks. Contact customer service to ask about availability for your account, how payments are collected and how to enroll.

Call customer service at 1-800-636-7678 to discuss enrollment and request the current application form. The team can explain eligibility, account setup and the terms that apply.

The service was formerly known as Neofunds or Totalfunds.

Statements and payments

Payment is due 28 days from the statement date. Check your statement for the exact due date and minimum payment required.

Contact customer service to request a different statement date. The team can explain the available billing cycles and help you choose one that suits your payment process.

You must pay at least the minimum payment shown on your statement by the due date.

Finance charges may apply if you pay less than the full balance. A late fee may apply if the minimum payment is not received by the due date.

You can pay through MyQuadient, by check or by ACH. You can also call customer service for help making a payment.

Use the payment instructions on your current statement, including the correct account reference. These differ from the instructions for USPS prepayments or equipment invoices.

Processing time depends on the payment method and delivery time. Allow enough time for your payment to reach your account by the due date.

Check MyQuadient for payment activity. If a payment has not appeared, contact customer service with your account number and payment details.

Account limits and fees

Contact customer service to request an increase to your Total Account Limit. The team will explain the review process and provide the current request form.

Downloads up to your monthly Free Transaction Limit do not incur a transaction fee. Downloads above that limit during a monthly billing period are subject to a 1% Flex Limit Fee on the amount above the limit.

For example, if your Free Transaction Limit is $4,000 and you download $5,000 during the billing period, the fee is $10:

($5,000 − $4,000) × 1% = $10

Check your account terms for the limit that applies to you.

Existing prepaid funds

Your available USPS prepaid balance is used before additional downloads are charged to your Quadient Postage Funding account.

This also applies if a check reaches your prepaid account after you start using the service.

Contact customer service to request a transfer and confirm the process for your account.
