
Over 1,500 volunteers and a small number of paid staff provide a range of social care, welfare, information and advice services to older people and their families in the UK. Activities include home visits and telephone contact to reduce isolation and loneliness. This client campaigns and collaborates with other organisations to promote changes.
The client drew up plans to move their HQ to a smaller office in London. With approximately 9,000 files totalling 750,000 pages of material in various states of repair, they recognised the need to digitise and store the documents on an EDMS. They wanted to stop relying on a single physical copy of any given document and thereby improve resilience as well as making the whole record system easier to search and more secure.
